Mathew’s successful career in real estate began in 2005 and he has been a valued member of the Hobart team since 2015.

Mathew is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the day to day operations of the residential sales team, and under his leadership, the department has experienced year on year growth.

Having held a senior management position for a statewide real estate company for the five years prior, Mathew spent some time ‘back on the tools’ when he first joined the Hobart team, before moving back into senior management in 2017. He was quickly recognised as a stand-out industry leader, winning the national Leadership Award in 2018 and the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania Leadership Award in 2019.

Mathew’s vast knowledge of and experience in the Tasmanian residential sales market is underpinned by commercial and property management nous, ensuring he is able to provide a comprehensive skillset to both his colleagues and clients alike. Mathew is best known for his drive and ambition, along with his open and honest communication style. He sets high standards for himself, which best serve his clients and team to overcome challenges that may be encountered in an ever-changing market.

Mathew is a proud born and bred Tasmanian. He lives in Taroona, is an avid gardener, coaches a football team and is raising two children.
